Lunda’s Heavy Highway Bridge Division is specifically focused to provide construction services on bridge projects of any scope ranging from small simple structures and box culverts to major transportation projects. Lunda’s experienced staff, skilled workers and vast equipment fleet specifically focus on infrastructure projects for various public agencies.

Lunda’s bridge experience in structures crossing roadways and waterways include some of the most complex bridges in the upper Midwest. Lunda has completed work on more structures over the Upper Mississippi River than any other contractor. Lunda self performs pile driving, cofferdam installation, large diameter pile driving, concrete construction, structural steel erecting, pre-cast segmental box girder bridges, cast-in-place segmental box girders, segmental and steel/prestressed concrete bridges temporary falsework erection, bridge removal, and erection plans for steel girders and precast concrete segments.

Lunda has significant experience successfully completing projects using innovative contracting methods and has been a leader in the design build delivery method including the Hastings Bridge which is the longest free standing arch bridge in North America. Lunda has developed strong relationships with public agencies and engineering companies to address specific design and construction issues on major transportation projects.
